Our Ink Department

TLC’s in-house ink department is unique in the printing industry.  We manufacture over 95% of our ink in-house by using base colors purchased from our suppliers.  Using spectrophotometry, TLC digitally measures all colors that we print, before and during each press run to guarantee color consistency.  Our system allows us to hold color consistent from run to run, across any press type & material. 

Our two manufacturing locations share one color database so we can guarantee the same color will be printed in either our California or New Jersey manufacturing locations.  This is a unique and powerful capability that allows TLC to service customers with manufacturing locations across the United States with consistent color on all of their labels, no matter where they were printed.

We have solved many issues for customers who have had color consistency problems with multiple vendors on each side of the country.
